The National ID Program Ethiopia and Addis Ababa City Administration Revenue Bureau agreed to a partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on integrating the Taxpayer Identification Number with the National Identification Number (Fayda Identification Number) , which facilitates the modern information technology that the revenue sector is currently implementing. This is expected to benefit the tax administration bodies of the federal and regional/city administrations at a higher level. The MoU signing took place at the National ID Program Office on Thursday, February 16 with the presence of Mr. Yodahe Zemichael, Executive director of the National ID Program, and Mr. Mulugeta Tefera, Head of the Addis Ababa City Administration Revenue Bureau, with the delegation from both sides. On the day, the delegates from the Addis Ababa City Administration Revenue Bureau also underwent registration for the Fayda ID.
